We Are Proud to Give Back to the Nashville Community
TechnologyAdvice has a lot to thank Nashville for, so we make sure to show our gratitude by working with local community organizations to make our city better for everyone.
Some of our annual charity work includes working with Youth Villages - a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully. Serving as Holiday Heroes and Backpack Heroes to more than 1,000 kids and also volunteering to paint the Binkley group home for teenage boys, our team helps Nashville youth have school supplies and presents for the holidays that they may not experience otherwise. In 2016, we extended the spirit of giving by donating funds on behalf of our clients to Safe Haven, an organization that improves outcomes of children in crisis.
Organizations We Have Partnered With
We volunteer with a lot of organizations. Here are a few of them:
Whether we are dressing up for a gala or dressing down for a run, we support Best Buddies in a variety of ways. Some of our favorite events include their annual Best Buddies Gala and the local Best Buddies 5k
We’ve supported Second Harvest annually since 2014, holding can food competitions and collecting more than 1,600 pounds of food in a single month. In 2017, our entire team participated in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Sort-a-thon and contributed to the more than 80,000 meals that were sorted.
Nashville Food Project
Working to alleviate hunger in our city, the Nashville Food Project grows and collects food to distribute meals to those who need it most. We enjoyed preparing vegetables and making kale chips.
Nashville Youth Villages
For the past three years, we’ve supported Youth Villages’ Holiday Heroes initiative and have shopped and bought more than 300 presents for children each year. We also participate in Backpack Heroes to donate school supplies to Nashville children.
